Dr. Mohammad B. Rana received the Best Paper Award at the European International Business Academy (EIBA) Conference 2025 held in Athens. The award was presented by the Global Strategy Journal, one of the world’s leading journals in international business strategy. The awarded paper examined multinational enterprises’ strategies for sustainable supplier upgrading and was developed as part of the CREATE research project funded by DANIDA. The study highlighted how sustainability-oriented upgrading in global value chains can strengthen supplier capabilities while supporting broader circularity and sustainability transitions in the apparel industry.
